About “Sunny”
Sunny is a Japanese manga series created and illustrated by Taiyō Matsumoto. It was first serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Monthly Ikki from December 2010 to September 2014. After the magazine ended, the series moved to Monthly Big Comic Spirits, where it was published from January to July 2015. The manga was collected into six wide-ban volumes. It was licensed for English release in North America by Viz Media. In April 2025, an anime film adaptation was announced, produced by Dwarf Studios, with a planned release in 2029.
