About “Tafsir al-Gharaeb al-Quran”
Ghara'ib al-Qur'an wa Ragha'ib al-Furqan, also known as Ghara'ib al-Qur'an or Tafsir al-Nisaburi, is a classical Sunni–Sufi tafsir of the Qur'an. It was written by Nizam al-Din al-Nisaburi, a Shafi'i-Ash'ari scholar. The work closely follows the tafsir of al-Fakhr al-Razi in many parts. The book is a religious and scholarly interpretation of the Qur'an, focusing on its deeper meanings and linguistic peculiarities. It reflects the theological and exegitical traditions of the time.
