About “Telegony”
The Telegony is a lost epic poem from Ancient Greek literature, part of the Epic Cycle that covered myths related to the Trojan War. It follows the Odyssey and is considered the final episode in the cycle. The poem focuses on Telegonus, the son of Odysseus and Circe, and was written in two books of dactylic hexameter verse. Though sometimes attributed to Cinaethon of Sparta, it was also said to have been stolen from Musaeus by Eugammon of Cyrene.
