About “Thakurmar Jhuli”
Thakurmar Jhuli is a collection of Bengali folk tales and fairy tales. It was compiled by Dakshinaranjan Mitra Majumder, who gathered and published some of these stories in 1907 under the title "Thakurmar Jhuli." Rabindranath Tagore, a Nobel Laureate, wrote the introduction for the anthology. The book has since become a significant part of Bengali children's literature.
