About “The Blue Cup”
The Blue Cup is a 1936 short story written by the Soviet author Arkady Gaidar. It was first published in the January 1936 issue of Pioneer magazine and later released as a book by Detizdat Publishers, including illustrations by Boris Dekhteryov. In 1940, Gaidar included The Blue Cup in two of his collections, Rasskazy and Moyi Tovarishchi. The story was written in Russian and remains a part of Gaidar’s literary work.
