About “The Book of Mirdad”

The Book of Mirdad is an allegorical philosophical work by Lebanese author Mikha'il Na'ima. It was first published in Lebanon in 1948. Na'ima wrote the book in English and later translated it into Arabic. He originally tried to have it published in London, but it was rejected for promoting a religion with "a new dogma." The book explores philosophical themes through allegory. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
