The Case of Sergeant Grischa is a 1927 war novel by German author Arnold Zweig. Its original title is Der Streit um den Sergeanten Grischa, and it is part of Zweig's six-part series Der große Krieg der weißen Männer. The novel was published during the "war book boom" of the late 1920s, a period when many First World War veterans wrote semi-autobiographical works based on their experiences.
