About “The Decagon House Murders”

The lonely, rockbound island of Tsunojima is known for a series of unsolved murders and local legends of being haunted. The K-University Mystery Club chooses it as their annual trip destination. However, the trip takes a deadly turn when the first club member is found dead. The remaining members must use their mystery-solving skills to survive as they are picked off one by one. As the group becomes desperate and distrustful, they turn on each other. The survivors struggle to uncover the murderer’s plan before they become the next victims. This 1987 Japanese mystery novel by Yukito Ayatsuji follows the group's desperate attempts to escape the island and the killer's trap.
