About “The Dogs of War”
In a remote part of Zangaro, a small African republic, stands Crystal Mountain, which glows at certain times of the day. Only Sir James Manson knows the reason. The mountain contains ten billion dollars worth of platinum, the world's most valuable mineral. A novel by Frederick Forsyth describes the challenge of obtaining this resource. The solution proposed is to invade Zangaro with mercenaries, overthrow the government, establish a puppet regime, and start a war.
