About “The Embalmer”
The Embalmer is a manga series created and illustrated by Mitsukazu Mihara. It was first serialized in the magazine Feel Young and later compiled into seven volumes by Shodensha. The series was licensed for an English release by Tokyopop, with four volumes published. In Poland, the complete series was released by Hanami. A live-action adaptation titled Shigeshōshi aired as a 12-episode drama on TV Tokyo and other networks, and was later released in a boxset by VAP. Two music CDs featuring the series' soundtrack were released in November 2007. A 6-episode web series spin-off was also produced and made available online.
