About “The end of faith”
The End of Faith is a 2004 essay by Sam Harris. It analyzes the clash of faith and reason, touring humanity's willingness to suspend reason for religious beliefs even to justify atrocities, and argues that in the shadow of weapons of mass destruction we cannot survive religious differences indefinitely, contending that moderate lip service to religion blinds us to the perils of fundamentalism.
