The Four Feathers is a 1902 adventure novel by A. E. W. Mason. It was announced in December 1901 by Cornhill Magazine as one of two new serial stories. The story takes place against the backdrop of the Mahdist War. The main character, Feversham, leaves his regiment and is accused of cowardice, represented by four white feathers given to him by others.
