About “The Lady Most Likely”

Hugh Dunne, the Earl of Briarly, needs a wife, so his sister hands him a list of top candidates and hosts a house party where she invites them all, along with other bachelors, since Hugh refuses to leave his stables. He must choose among ladies including Botticelli-esque Gwendolyn and outspoken Katherine before losing them to his friends, or consider a lady not on the list at all.
