About “The magician's apprentice”
The magician's apprentice is set hundreds of years before the events of The Magicians' Guild and follows Tessia, who serves as assistant to her father, the village Healer, in the remote village of Mandryn. After defending herself from a violent Sachakan mage using unknown magical reserves, Tessia is taken as an apprentice by Lord Dakon, the local magician, and begins a journey of study and discipline that leads her to the great city of Imardin, where she faces both the privileges and responsibilities of her emerging magical abilities.
