About “The Poisoned Chocolates Case”

Sir Eustace is a notorious man, known for his affairs with other men's wives, and many people have reason to want him dead. A box of chocolates, laced with poison, is sent to him, leaving Scotland Yard unable to solve the case. A group of society intellectuals, known as the Crime Circle, takes on the challenge. Each member of the group provides a different solution to the mystery, identifying a separate suspect as the murderer. First published in 1929, the novel is a classic of the golden age of mystery fiction and a celebrated puzzle-mystery.
