The Quintessential Quintuplets is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020, and later collected in 14 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Futaro Uesugi, a high-school student who is hired as a private tutor for the Nakano quintuplets: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki. The narrative begins with a flashback, as an adult Futaro prepares to marry one of the quintuplets, whose identity is revealed near the end of the series.
