The Revolutionary Army is a pamphlet written by Zou Rong in 1903 and published in Shanghai. At the time, Zou was an 18-year-old student in Japan. The text includes a preface written by Zhang Binglin. Zou was influenced by early Chinese revolutionaries and by Western political ideas, including works by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Montesquieu, the United States Declaration of Independence, and John Stuart Mill.
