About “The Road Not Taken”
"The Road Not Taken" is a narrative poem by Robert Frost, first published in the August 1915 issue of the Atlantic Monthly and later included as the first poem in his 1916 collection, Mountain Interval. The poem explores the idea of choices and their consequences, using the image of two roads diverging in a forest. While the theme centers on the divergence of paths, both literal and symbolic, the poem's meaning is considered complex and open to different interpretations.
