About “The Song of Tentomushi”
The Song of Tentomushi is a manga series by Noboru Kawasaki that was published from 1973 to 1975 in Shogakukan's elementary school study magazines as part of the Shogakukan no Gakushō Zasshi series. The series was later collected into four volumes. It was adapted into an anime by Tatsunoko Productions, making it the second of Kawasaki's works to be animated by the studio. The anime was also broadcast in Italy under the title Coccinella. The series followed Inakappe Taishō, which was the first of Kawasaki's works to be animated by Tatsunoko.
