If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem is a novel by William Faulkner published in 1939, originally titled The Wild Palms after one of its two interwoven stories. Random House chose that title over Faulkner's own preference; later editions used If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem, and since 2003 both titles are commonly used together.
