About “The Wild Things”

Max is an eight-year-old boy living with his mother and sister, whose life is marked by the absence of his father and his mother's growing distraction. After feeling isolated and angry, Max dons a wolf suit, sails away in a boat to an island, and encounters giant, rage-filled creatures with whom he forms a bond, eventually becoming their king.
