About “Thirteen Moons”

Thirteen Moons is the story of Will, a boy given a horse, a key, and a map at the age of twelve, who is sent into the Indian Nation to run a trading post as a bound boy. As he grows into manhood, his life becomes entwined with the Cherokee people, particularly through his relationship with a woman named Claire and his involvement in the struggle to preserve the Cherokee's homeland and culture.
