About “Twin Spica”
Twin Spica is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kou Yaginuma. It is a realistic, slice-of-life science fiction story about a group of Japanese high school students who train to become astronauts in the early 21st century. Their journey begins after a disastrous human spaceflight launch results in many civilian deaths. The series was serialized in the seinen manga magazine Comic Flapper from September 2001 to August 2009.
