About “Umm al-Barahin”
Umm al-Barahin, also known as al-'Aqida al-Sanusiyya al-Sughra, is a short theological treatise on Ash'ari theology that systematizes the essentials of Sunni belief and their rational justifications. It was written by the Maghribian Maliki scholar Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Sanusi. The work provides a foundation for Islamic creed based on evidence and reasoning.
