Colum O’Mare, a legendary freedom fighter who is ageing and critically ill, plans a final operation for the Irish cause, leading to the escape of Sean Rogan, a soldier of the Irish Republican Army, from a mainland security prison. The escape sets off a chain of events that results in a dangerous and uncontrollable situation involving a seductively beautiful woman and the pursuit of a political offender.
