Set in the future, We follows D-503, a spacecraft engineer living in the One State, a glass-built urban nation that assists mass surveillance and runs on Panopticon-like structure with scientifically managed, Taylor-style life. People march in step, wear uniforms, and are referred to only by number, with individual behavior governed by logic-based formulas.
