About “Why I am not a Muslim”
Why I Am Not a Muslim is a critique of Islam and the Qur'an written by Ibn Warraq. It was first published in 1995 by Prometheus Books in the United States. The book's title is inspired by Bertrand Russell's essay Why I Am Not a Christian, in which Russell critiques the religion he was raised in.
