About “Wish You Well”

Wish You Well follows twelve-year-old Louisa Mae Cardinal, who lives in New York City in 1940 until tragedy strikes her family. She and her younger brother, Oz, move with their invalid mother to their great-grandmother's farm in the Virginia mountains, where Lou comes of age in a new landscape and makes her first true friend. As forces of greed and justice clash over the family's new home, a struggle played out in a crowded Virginia courtroom comes to determine the future of two children and an entire town.
