About “Zipang”
Zipang is a Japanese manga series created by Kaiji Kawaguchi. It was published in Kodansha's magazine Morning from 2000 to 2009 and later compiled into forty-three tankōbon volumes. The story centers on a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer and its crew, who are transported back in time more than 60 years to the Pacific theatre of World War II.
