In a not so distant future California, Berry, an ex-cop turned private security worker, is just trying to make ends meet, while Chevette is a young bicycle messenger. A murder and a secret missing draw a murderer closing in on Chevette, and Berry becomes the only thing standing between them, in a world of multi-national corporations, reality TV, big dome private communities, and shanty towns.
