About “Love Lifts the Curse”
Orphaned Jacoba Ford answers an advertisement to become companion to the Earl of Kilmurdock, a blind and deaf gentleman, and is sent to Murdock Castle in the Scottish Highlands. She is actually the victim of a hoax planned by Hamish McMurdock as revenge on his uncle, the Earl, who has vowed to ban all women from the castle, which the local clan believes lies under a curse only love can lift.
