About “Mille plateaux”
A Thousand Plateaus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia is a 1980 book by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze and psychoanalyst Félix Guattari. It is the second and final volume of their collaborative work Capitalism and Schizophrenia. Building on their earlier work Anti-Oedipus (1972), which critiqued psychoanalysis and Marxism, this book explores a broader range of philosophical topics. It presents an experimental approach to thought, emphasizing what the authors call rhizomatic thinking. The work serves as a "positive exercise" in developing alternative modes of understanding and organization. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
