About “Casca: Johnny Reb”
Casca: Johnny Reb is a historical fantasy novel by Tony Roberts that is part of the Casca series, originally created by Barry Sadler in 1979. The story centers on Casca Rufio Longinus, a Roman legionary who is cursed with immortality after driving the Holy Lance into the side of Jesus Christ on Golgotha. As a result of the curse, Casca is destined to wander the Earth as a soldier throughout history, never finding peace until the Second Coming.
