About “Casca: The Conquistador”
Casca: The Conquistador is a historical fantasy novel by Barry Sadler, part of the Casca series that began in 1979. The story follows Casca Rufio Longinus, a Roman legionary who is cursed with immortality after driving the Holy Lance into the side of Jesus Christ on Golgotha. As a result, he must wander the Earth as a soldier throughout history, bound to his fate until the Second Coming.
