Told from two viewpoints, this novel follows a woman able to manipulate others' emotions, whose words have no effect on one man who watches and waits for her. He, in turn, confesses to having fallen for her, remaining fixated on her smile, eyes, and movements, and vows to keep watching until he can make her his and never let her go.
