About “Dead Man's Bones”
When China Bayles's teenage son finds skeletal remains showing a not-so-accidental death during a cave dig, it coincides with the opening of a new community theater donated on condition that its first play, written by the haughty Jane Obermann, tell her family's history. The premiere ends with Jane fatally shooting an intruder in self-defense, but China senses more is going on.
