About “Claymore, Volume 9”
Clare and her fellow Claymores Galatea and Jean must battle the Awakened Beings holding them captive. In the process, they discover their captors' plan is to torture the warriors in order to force them to awaken and join a gathering of Yoma. It remains uncertain whether Clare and her comrades can defeat the Awakened Beings without becoming one themselves.
