This is the second book in the DAHAK series. The story follows Earth as it faces the Achultanni. Colin and a selected group of soldiers set out to discover why the old empire has not responded to warnings from outer sensor buoys. Meanwhile, Earth is under the control of Horus and a small group of generals, who manage the planet's defenses and work to unify the human population. As events unfold, challenges and adventures arise for all involved. The enemy draws nearer, and eventually, the attack on Earth begins.
