The Bloody Sun is a science fantasy novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley, part of her Darkover series. It was first published in 1964 by Ace Books. The novel was later rewritten, expanded, and republished under the same title in 1979. In this edition, Bradley's short story "To Keep the Oath" was included and remained in all later printings.
