About “Going Postal”

Moist von Lipwig, a former swindler, is about to be hanged but instead is offered a job as Postmaster by Lord Vetinari. His task is to revive the failing Postal Service in Ankh-Morpork, which is overwhelmed by years of undelivered mail. The post office is in disarray, and Moist begins to hear the mail speaking to him. He must also face the powerful Grand Trunk clacks monopoly and its ruthless leader. Despite the challenges, Moist takes on the job, determined to restore order and bring hope to the city. The novel follows his efforts to manage the postal system and overcome both internal and external obstacles.
