About “Damaged Goods”
Damaged Goods is an original Doctor Who novel published by Virgin Publishing in 1996 as part of their New Adventures series. It was the first full-length prose work by Russell T. Davies, who later became the show's chief writer and executive producer after its 2005 revival. This novel marked Davies's debut in full-length fiction, following his earlier publication of a novelisation of his children's TV series Dark Season, released in 1991 by BBC Books. Damaged Goods was part of the expanded Doctor Who literary universe and showcased Davies's early contributions to the franchise. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
