About “Return to Eden”
In Return to Eden, Harry Harrison concludes his epic trilogy set in a world where dinosaurs survived and evolved into intelligent beings known as the Yilane. The humans, led by the hunter Kerrick, find refuge on an island after being rescued from the Yilane. There, they attempt to rebuild their lives, but they face constant danger from fierce predators. Kerrick cannot forget Vainte, a Yilane who was exiled and now obsessively hunts him, driven by a hatred stronger than her instincts. The novel explores the ongoing struggle between humans and Yilane, focusing on survival and the complex relationship between Kerrick and Vainte.
