About “The last detective”
Elvis Cole's relationship with attorney Lucy Chenier is strained after she moves from Louisiana to Los Angeles. While Lucy is away and her ten-year-old son Ben stays with Elvis, Ben disappears. Elvis and partner Joe Pike search for him with LAPD Detective Carol Starkey, as Lucy's wealthy ex-husband tries to wrest control of the investigation.
