About “Nostoi”
The Nostoi, also known as Returns or Returns of the Greeks, is a lost epic poem from ancient Greek literature. Part of the Epic Cycle, it focused on the return of the Achaean heroes to Greece after the Trojan War. It came after the Iliupersis and was followed by the Odyssey. The author of the Nostoi is unknown, though ancient writers attributed it to Agias, Homer, and Eumelos of Corinth. The poem was written in five books of verse using the dactylic hexameter.
