Cadel has been struggling since he chose to be good rather than evil. He doesn't know where he was born or who his father is. He is constantly threatened by Prosper English, the criminal mastermind he helped put in jail. Cadel wonders if the Genius Squad will be the solution to his problems or if he should question their motives. Determining what is good or bad is more complicated than he ever imagined. Evil Genius, the first book in the series, won the 2006 Davitt Award for Young Adult.
