About “Murder in Rose Hill”
Andre Hill, a 47-year-old African American man, was shot and killed by Columbus police officer Adam Coy on December 22, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. Hill was unarmed and was holding a smartphone when he was confronted by Coy, who had been dispatched to the area following a non-emergency call about someone sitting in an SUV and turning it on and off. Coy was fired by the Columbus Division of Police less than a week after the incident.
