Succubus is a shape-shifting demon that seduces and pleasures mortal men. The term "pathetic" refers to a succubus with great shoes and no social life, as seen in the character Georgina Kincaid. While being a succubus might seem glamorous, Georgina's life in Seattle is far from it. Her boss is a middle-management demon who likes John Cusack movies, and her immortal friends tease her about a past mistake when she shape-shifted into a Demon Goddess outfit. Georgina struggles to have a normal date without draining the life from her partners. She works at a local bookstore, where she can enjoy free books and coffee, and she is drawn to Seth Mortensen, a sexy writer she can't touch. However, a dangerous threat emerges in Seattle's demon underground, and this time, Georgina's usual charm and wit may not be enough to save her.
