About “The hollow man”
A 1935 novel by John Dickson Carr. Professor Charles Grimaud dismisses a superstition about men leaving their coffins, until a stranger claims to have risen from his own and warns that his brother will come for Grimaud's life. The brother later walks through a locked door during a snowstorm, shoots Grimaud, and vanishes, leaving Dr. Gideon Fell to solve a mystery with no footprints.
