About “Niagara Falls, or does it?”

Hank starts fourth grade with a series of bad experiences. On the first day, he is called to the principal's office. His teacher assigns him to write five paragraphs about what he did during the summer, but Hank struggles with writing and is afraid he cannot complete the task. To avoid writing, he decides to show what he did instead. His attempt, however, leads to a disaster, and he ends up in detention. Despite the trouble, detention becomes a significant moment in his life. The book is written by Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver.
