About “Paradisets Have”

"The Garden of Paradise" is a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, first published on 19 October 1839 by C. A. Reitzel in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was included in Fairy Tales Told for Children. New Collection. Second Booklet, alongside "The Flying Trunk" and "The Storks." The story was read and appreciated by Maximilian II of Bavaria. According to Andersen biographer Jackie Wullschlager, the tale and its two companion stories are considered "grim."
